A day in the Life

Quarantine Day 12

Today was our baking day.

Honestly, I usually devote one day a week to baking. I find it easier to just mass produce all the bread products and desserts you’ll eat throughout the week on one day. One day of kitchen messiness. One day of flour EVERYWHERE.

Then your house goes back to normal. It… sometimes works.

Sometimes we don’t eat a week worth of desserts in two days.

Sometimes I make enough bread.

Sometimes I feel very accomplished in my kitchen.

Sometimes.

As Passover is looming ahead, we spent a little extra time in the kitchen trying to use up all of our leven products, which meant lots of time on the wheat grinder.

Don’t worry, we all took turns.
