Never Too Many Animals for These Farmers!

This is not a real post.

It is just a post to say, we found a cow and a half! No, we’re not bad a math, we found a pregnant Red Angus!

The lovely girl is due to calf in June and we could not be happier to add her to our currently growing mixed multitude herd. I think the addition will come as a bit of a breath of fresh air for poor Motza Ella, our milk cow, as she seems to be having some issues getting along with our horses. Mainly our horses are jerks, and she is not.

We drove into Nova Scotia to visit her this past Saturday, and watched as she languished in a field next to her other cow friends. She’s so fuzzy! We’re all incredibly excited to see her delivery truck pull down our driveway next week.
