Puppy City, Again.

Last night, just shortly after the clock ticked midnight, an excited Kayli padded into my room to announce, “Zoe’s having babies!!!!”

Why is it that our dogs always have babies in the direct middle of the night??

Up we got from our beds and watched, and counted, and waited…

I will be honest, I was slightly nervous we were going to get a number bigger than 10, as dogs usually have smaller litters for their first litter…

However, as the morning broke, seven little noses stuck out from the folds of the blankets, not twelve, not ten… seven. We can do seven.
