Cherry trees

This isn’t really a real post.

It’s more of a place holder to say, while walking around our property yesterday we found something amazing.

CHERRIES!

Cherries are growing on our property! I can’t even begin to describe what a thrill it was to walk up to a couple of trees and see those plump, red fruit dangling from their branches.

We planted apple, cherry and pear trees this spring, doing what we thought, was starting over. You see, we had planted fruit trees on our property in Ontario three years prior to selling. Those trees were just about to start producing fruit, and we sold them, moved to the red island, and started over (or so we thought). So imagine our delight when over the course of the past few weeks, we discovered that we have apple trees and cherry trees already in full bloom!

It’s an amazingly awesome blessing and we couldn’t possibly be more thankful.
